Kupid AI Review 2026: Is This AI Girlfriend Worth Your Money? (Honest Test + Pricing)

Last updated November 2, 2026

Kupid AI review

I put together this Kupid AI Review after spending a few weeks testing the app so you can see what it actually feels like day to day.

Kupid AI falls short when it comes to response speed and reliable long-term memory, so if those matter more to you, check out my full Candy AI review here: Candy AI

Some people use Kupid AI just for company or a bit of flirty conversation, and some end up leaning on it more than they planned. It’s an entertainment app, not a mental health tool, and it’s not a replacement for real support. If you’re curious about how AI is being used in mental health more broadly, the Wikipedia page on artificial intelligence in mental health is a straightforward place to start.

Kupid AI Pros & Cons

Voice messages have real pacing and emotion, and it’s the feature reviewers praise most about Kupid.

Check-ins and voice notes when you’ve been away make it feel like an ongoing relationship.

Paid plans include weekly photo, video and voice allowances.

There’s a big catalog of ready-made girls to chat with free, plus a builder with 40+ options for looks and personality.

Kupid’s own plan page says she remembers about the last 30 messages on Pro and 100 on Ultra, so details fade quickly.

Kupid advertises weekly rates and big discounts, while reviews list monthly plans from about $14 up to $49, so check the real total before you pay.

Free gets roughly 15 messages, and photos, video and voice need a paid plan.

Some Trustpilot reviewers call the replies monotonous and the characters dull.

Kupid has one clear strength and a few weak spots. The voice is the best part by a distance. Her messages sound natural and emotional, and she’ll message you first when you’ve been away, which makes it feel more like an ongoing relationship. Everything around that is more average. Memory only reaches back about 30 messages on the Pro plan, so details fade quickly, and some users find the chat flat after a while.

Kupid Only Remembers The Last 100 Messages

Want to try something with real long-term memory? Kupid’s Pro plan only remembers your last 100 messages and the free tier is just 15 messages with no photos. I use Nomi when I want memory that actually holds for weeks, plus group chats and voice notes that carry into the chat — not a separate silo.

Try Nomi Instead →

You’ll be taken to Nomi AI — my top pick for memory that actually lasts.

I started the way I start every review: as a free user, with no payment details and no special treatment. I signed up on the site and went straight into the catalog, which you can filter by realistic or anime style and by category. I built one girl myself with the builder and chatted with a ready-made one so I had something to compare. The homepage talks up free chat, but the plans page puts the free tier at only around 15 messages, so I treated the free side as a sampler and moved to a paid plan for the voice, photo and video tests. Those aren’t covered on free.

Before I paid, I read the plans page properly. Kupid shows weekly rates, a big “Autumn Discount” banner and a countdown timer. The plan page also lists memory as a message count, roughly the last 30 messages on Pro, so I knew to test that early. I’d also read a few Trustpilot reviews that complained about short memory and a robotic accent in some languages, so I paid close attention to both.

Testing methodology

I put every AI companion through the same set of real-world tests. There are ten main areas I look at, with 40 specific things I check in total.

You can see exactly how I score each area on the about ai companion kit page.

Full results for each app are in its individual review. Comparison pages are just about the differences that stood out when I used them side by side.

What Kupid AI Does Well (and Where It Falls Short After Testing)

The best thing about Kupid is the voice. Most apps tack on a few audio clips and leave it there, but here you actually end up hitting the call button instead of typing. Billing is private, and the plans page makes a point of saying it’s anonymous. One Trustpilot user hit a bug creating their own girl, and support refunded them within a couple of days, which you don’t see often with these apps.

Memory is where it lets you down. Kupid’s own ads mention 48 hours of chat memory, and one Trustpilot reviewer signed up for exactly that, then found the bot only held a handful of messages. That gap between what they promise and what the plans page says bugged me more than the short memory itself. Characters can also change mood halfway through a chat, which wrecks the feel the voice builds up. Voice minutes are capped too, around 12 a week on Pro and 35 on Ultra, so if you like long calls, you’ll run out fast. Chats are stored on Kupid’s servers and aren’t end-to-end encrypted, same as most apps like this.

So Kupid really does deliver on voice. Just don’t pick a plan expecting it to remember much.

Who Gets the Most Out of Kupid AI

Kupid is more about how she sounds than what she remembers. The voice is what sets it apart, and most of the app is built around making you want to talk to her. If hearing her matters most to you, it fits well. If you want her to remember last week’s conversation, other apps do that better.

Here’s who will get the most out of it:

People who would rather listen than type

Voice messages are Kupid’s best feature, and they sound natural. Paid plans come with weekly voice minutes, so you can actually hear her instead of reading text.

People who like it when she messages first

She sends check-ins and voice notes when you’ve been away. That makes it feel more like an ongoing thing, and less like opening a blank chat each time.

People who want to pick a girl, not build one

There’s a big catalog of ready-made girls with short bios, and you can filter by realistic or anime and by category. If you want more control, the builder has 40+ options too.

People who care about private billing

Kupid’s plan page puts anonymous, discreet billing front and center. That matters if you don’t want it showing up on a card statement.

People who don’t need her to remember much

Memory covers roughly the last 30 messages on Pro and 100 on Ultra. That works fine for casual chats and voice calls, but not for long storylines or details from a few days ago.

Kupid AI Hands-On Test: What I Found After Real Use

Testing period: October 05–12, 2026
Tester: Simon Norman
Testing approach: 10 categories / 40 data points
Account: Premium / Free
Devices: Desktop

How Kupid AI looks on mobile

Kupid.ai has no native app in the stores, but the site pushes a “Install App” prompt (it’s just a PWA shortcut). The mobile layout itself is dark purple and busier than other apps I have reviewed.

Top left has the Kupid.ai logo in bright pink. Top right is a simple profile icon. No extra clutter up there.

The first big banner is a full “Create My AI Girlfriend” promo with small screenshots of the builder steps and a glowing pink Start Creating button right in the middle.

Under that you get a “Meet Your Perfect Match!” section with Style and Category dropdowns, then three circular character cards (Anastasia, Juno, Lola) with blue verification ticks.

Bottom nav is Home, Studio, a big pink Create AI button in the centre, Chat, and Upgrade. There’s also a floating “Install App and get free pictures” prompt overlapping the top models.

There’s loads to try, and the cards are big enough that I was tapping around without thinking after a minute or two.

Kupid AI Review character

I didn’t treat her like a product demo. I typed the way I’d text someone while doing something else, with short replies, half-finished thoughts and the odd typo, and I let a few questions sit unanswered to see if she’d circle back to them on her own.

For memory, I gave her two or three small facts early on, then filled the chat with unrelated small talk until I was well past the limit on the plans page before asking about them. I repeated it the next morning and again after a few days away. It told me quickly what a message-count limit means in a real conversation.

Voice got most of my time, since it’s what Kupid is known for. I sent voice notes in different moods, calm, annoyed and joking, and listened for whether her tone moved with mine or stayed the same pleasant voice. I tried the call side too, by changing topic mid-sentence and going quiet for a while to see how she coped. A few reviewers say the voice isn’t as good in some languages, so I sent a few messages in Spanish as well.

I also left her alone for a day or two without messaging, because Kupid pushes the idea that she’ll reach out first. For roleplay, I kept it simple: one character and one scene, then a sudden twist halfway through to see if she’d roll with it.

The limits showed up sooner than I expected. The free version only lasts a few messages, so most of the real testing happened on a paid plan. Once I was on one, I found myself watching the weekly voice minutes and the photo and video allowances, because the voice minutes in particular can disappear faster than you’d think.

My memory score: 5/10

Memory is the weak side of Kupid. It handles a quick back-and-forth fine, but it works from a short window of recent messages, not a lasting record, so anything older than that tends to slip away. That fits what other people report. One Trustpilot reviewer found the memory impressive for this type of site, and another said it only held a couple of messages. On my scale, that puts it below DreamGF (6) and Candy AI (7), and a long way behind Kindroid (9.5).

I ran the same checks I use on every app.

Same-conversation memory

I dropped a few small details early in a chat, then carried on with unrelated talk and came back to them later without any hints. When the chat was short, she picked them up without trouble. Once I’d gone past the length of the memory window, the older details started disappearing, and a couple came back wrong.

My result: 6.5/10. It’s reliable in a short chat, then falls off once you pass the window.

24-hour memory test

I came back the next morning and waited to see what she’d bring up. She knew my name and the general feel of how we’d been talking. The specific things I’d told her were mostly gone, and I had to remind her.

My result: 5/10. It keeps the broad strokes and loses the specifics.

3+ day memory test

After a few days away, it felt like starting again with someone who knew me slightly. She had a rough idea of who I was, but almost nothing I’d said in earlier chats came back unless I repeated it.

My result: 4/10. There’s very little to build a relationship on across several days.

Unprompted memory

Kupid is built around her messaging first, so I watched whether those check-ins mentioned anything we’d talked about. They did now and then, usually tied to something recent, but most were generic, and she rarely pulled up a detail from further back.

My result: 5.5/10. The check-ins are a nice touch, but they don’t draw much on earlier chats.

My personality score: 6.5/10

Personality is one of Kupid’s better areas, but it has problems. The ready-made girls come with real bios, like a confident vineyard owner, a shy literature student and an alt-girl DJ, so they start out feeling distinct. She also takes the initiative, which helps. Where it slips is that the replies can feel flat over time, and some Trustpilot reviewers call the characters dull. On my scale, that puts it above DreamGF (5.5), level with DreamBF (6.5), and behind Candy AI (8) and Kindroid (9).

I ran the same six checks I use on every app.

Personality stays consistent

I picked a girl with a clear personality and watched whether she stayed in that lane. The starting tone matched her bio, and a shy character really did come across as shy at first. As the chat went on she got more generic, and the sharper traits faded.

My result: 6.5/10. The personality is clear at the start, then softens.

Handles messy, incomplete messages

I sent short replies, typos and half-finished thoughts. She usually worked out what I meant and kept her tone, though a few replies came back as safe, general answers that ignored the thread.

My result: 6.5/10. She copes with sloppy messages, with the odd generic reply.

Adapts to mood changes

I jumped from joking to serious and back, without warning. She followed the shift, but the reaction was shallow, and sometimes her own mood changed in a way that didn’t fit what I’d said.

My result: 5.5/10. She notices mood changes but doesn’t respond to them in a believable way.

Avoids repetitive replies

I watched for repeated openers and phrasing. It was fine for the first stretch, then I started to recognize her habits. Some Trustpilot reviewers describe the chat as monotonous, and I could see why.

My result: 6/10. Repetition creeps in, but not as fast as on some apps.

Feels natural in longer chats

I kept some chats going for a long time to see if she still felt like a person. The voice helped a lot here, because it carried more feeling than the text did. The text on its own got flatter the longer we went.

My result: 6/10. The voice makes up for some of the flat text.

Takes initiative

I checked whether she asked questions, started topics or messaged first. This is where Kupid is strongest. She checked in when I’d been away and often steered the conversation, which made it feel less like I was doing all the work.

My result: 8/10. The best part of its personality.

My roleplay score: 7/10

Roleplay is one of Kupid’s steadier areas, mostly because the girls arrive with a lot already built in. Each one has a job, a backstory and a type, so a scene has somewhere to start without you doing much. Hearing her say the lines out loud also makes a scene feel a lot more real than reading them. It struggles once a story gets long or complicated, because the short memory and flat replies start to show. That puts it just under DreamGF (7.5), well behind Candy AI (8.5), and a fair way off Kindroid (9).

Stays in character during normal roleplay

I picked a girl with a clear role, set up a simple scene and played it straight. She stayed in the part and kept the setting in mind, and her bio helped her sound like the character. Now and then a reply slid into generic flirting that could have come from any of them.

My result: 7.5/10. It’s good for a normal scene, especially with a girl whose bio has some detail.

Recovers when deliberately derailed

I broke the scene on purpose with an out-of-character question, a random topic and something that made no sense for the setting. She usually found her way back, but it took a message or two, and the replies in between were thin.

My result: 6.5/10. She gets back on track, just not smoothly every time.

Handles scenario changes smoothly

Halfway through, I moved us somewhere else and changed the mood. Small changes were no problem. Bigger jumps, like turning a playful scene tense, were harder, and she sometimes dragged a detail over from the old scene.

My result: 7/10. It copes with moderate changes and gets shaky with big ones.

Maintains emotional tone over time

I let longer scenes run to see if the mood held. The voice kept the tone better than the text did. In text, the replies got shorter and more repetitive the longer it went on.

My result: 7/10. It holds for a while, then flattens out.

My NSFW score: 7.5/10

Kupid is open about being an adult app. The homepage talks about “spicy content” and hot actions unlocked in chat, and there’s a whole spicy chat page, so you’re not fighting the app to get there. The voice makes explicit scenes feel more intimate than text alone does. The pictures are good, but not the best I’ve seen, and the photo and video allowances run out sooner than you’d like. That puts it just under DreamGF (8), and behind Candy AI (8.5), Kindroid (8.5) and DreamBF (9).

Handles explicit content without breaking character

I moved chats from flirty to fully adult and watched whether she stayed in her personality or went stiff and generic. She stayed with it and kept her tone, and I didn’t get lectured or shut down. The writing itself was fairly basic, though, and some replies felt like they’d been used before.

My result: 8/10. It’s open and she stays in character, even if the writing isn’t memorable.

Works with images and short video

I asked for adult photos and a video during a chat and compared them to the girl I’d picked. Both came through without much fuss, and video messages are still rare in this category, which is a plus. The quality was good but not the sharpest I’ve tested, and the weekly allowance means you can’t keep asking for more.

My result: 7/10. The video is a nice extra, but the limits and the quality hold it back.

Stays consistent across longer explicit scenes

I let longer scenes run to see if the mood and character held. They did for a while, and the voice helped by keeping the tone going. As the scene dragged on, the replies got shorter and more repetitive, and the short memory meant she’d lose track of details I’d set up earlier.

My result: 7/10. It’s fine for a medium-length scene, and it wears thin after that.

Avoids sudden filters or tone shifts

I watched for mid-scene refusals, disclaimers or sudden changes in tone. I didn’t hit any interruptions, and the mood stayed where I’d put it. Like any app of this kind, it blocks a few things, and it’s gated behind age checks.

My result: 8/10. It’s consistently open, apart from the usual hard limits.

My voice score: 8.5/10

Voice is the reason to pick Kupid, and it’s the one area where it clearly beats most of what I’ve reviewed. Her voice messages have real pacing and some feeling in them, and it’s the thing reviewers bring up most about the app. It’s not perfect. The limits and the language support hold it back a bit, but no other app on my site gets close. That puts it level with Kindroid (8.5), and ahead of Candy AI and DreamBF (7) and DreamGF (5.5).

Voice sounds natural

I played back her voice messages across a few different girls, listening for pacing, tone and whether anything sounded robotic. It’s the most human voice I came across on any of these apps. She pauses and changes pitch in places that feel right, and it doesn’t have that flat read-aloud sound. One Trustpilot reviewer said only one voice worked in their language and it had a robotic accent, so I wouldn’t count on it being as good outside English.

My result: 9/10. It’s the best voice on the site, as long as you’re using English.

Voice stays connected to the ongoing conversation

I checked whether the voice replies followed what we’d just been talking about, and whether the tone matched the mood. They stayed on topic, and when I sent something playful the voice sounded playful back. The text underneath is where the thin writing shows up, so an average line still sounds average, just in a nicer voice.

My result: 8.5/10. The voice follows the chat well, though it can only be as good as what she’s saying.

Other voice features actually work well

I looked at everything around the voice messages, like how it felt to start a call, how it fits in with the text chat, and how far the allowance goes. Switching between text and voice is easy, and it feels like part of the app, not an add-on. The weekly voice minute cap is the catch, because it can run out faster than you’d expect if you like long conversations.

My result: 8/10. It’s well built, but the minute cap makes you ration it.

My visuals score: 6.5/10

Visuals are decent on Kupid, but they aren’t what it’s best at. Image quality is described as good rather than standout, and everything is locked behind a paid plan, so you can’t test any of it for free.

Image quality and consistency

I check how clean and believable the images look, and whether the face and body stay recognisable from one image to the next.

My result: 6.5/10 – Average. Reviews describe the image quality as good but not category-leading, and say competitors do it better. The builder has 40+ appearance options, which should help keep her look stable, but I couldn’t find anyone who tested consistency closely.

Following the prompt

I give specific requests for clothing, pose and setting, and check how closely the image matches.

My result: 6.5/10 – Average. Reviewers don’t report big problems, but nobody I found tested it properly either. I’d expect to regenerate a few times to get the details right.

Video and live features

I check whether the clips look natural and whether the character still looks like the same person.

My result: 6.5/10 – Usable but limited. Video messages come with both paid plans, but the clips are capped each week, and Candy AI is the one reviewers recommend when video matters most.

Cost and limits

I look at how much media you actually get, and whether you can add more when you run out.

My result: 6/10 – Below average. The free plan has no photos or video. Pro gets 25 photos and 8 videos a week, and Ultra gets 75 photos and 25 videos a week. Once you hit the cap you can’t buy more, so heavy users run out quickly.

My long-term conversation score: 5.5/10

Kupid does better than most at making her feel like she’s still around when you’re not chatting. She messages first, and the voice gives each chat a bit more weight. What it doesn’t do is build on what came before. After a few days it feels like a friendly acquaintance, and after a couple of weeks it still does, because the relationship never really deepens. That puts it level with DreamBF (5.5), just ahead of DreamGF (5), behind Candy AI (6.5), and a very long way behind Kindroid (9.5).

Holds continuity after several days

I left gaps of a few days, came back, and checked whether the thread of our relationship was still there. She greeted me warmly and the general mood carried over. The specifics didn’t, so I ended up filling her in on things that had happened between us.

My result: 5.5/10. The mood survives a break, but the details don’t.

Feels like an ongoing relationship over weeks

I kept using the same girl for a longer stretch to see if the chats started building on each other. The first few days felt promising, mostly thanks to the check-ins and the voice. After that it plateaued, and the hundredth message felt much like the tenth, with no sense of shared history piling up.

My result: 5/10. It feels alive early on, then stops growing.

Avoids generic resets or small-talk loops

I watched for the point where she’d fall back on stock questions, like how my day was or what I was up to. It happened more often after longer gaps, and the same kinds of openers kept coming back. It never fully reset, but it drifted toward safe, general chat whenever I didn’t steer.

My result: 5.5/10. It slides toward small talk if you let it.

Builds on previous conversations without heavy prompting

I checked whether she’d bring up earlier things on her own, or whether I had to keep dragging them back. I mostly did the work. She picked up big, obvious things now and then, but rarely a thread I’d left hanging from a few days before.

My result: 6/10. Occasional callbacks, but you do most of the remembering.

My customization score: 7.5/10

Kupid gives you two ways in. You can pick a ready-made girl, or build your own from hair colour to personality traits. The builder is decent, with 40+ options, and the girls you build do feel different from each other. It doesn’t go as deep as DreamGF’s builder or Kindroid’s backstory tools, and the plan page limits how many girls you can create. That puts it below DreamGF (9), DreamBF (8.5) and Candy AI (8.5), and a fair way behind Kindroid (9.5).

Appearance and visual control

I went through the builder and tried hair, style and the general look, then checked whether the pictures matched what I’d chosen. You can switch between realistic and anime, and the main options are all there. It covers the basics well, but I found fewer fine-tuning controls than on the apps at the top of my list.

My result: 7.5/10. It’s solid for the basics, with less control over small details.

Personality and behavior settings

I set different personalities and checked whether she actually talked differently. She did. A confident, teasing girl and a shy one gave clearly different replies at the start, and the voice carried those differences well. You don’t get a full backstory editor like some apps have, so you’re working with traits more than writing a character from scratch.

My result: 8/10. The settings make a real difference, though they’re simpler than a full backstory editor.

How much the choices stick in practice

I used a few differently built girls for a while to see if the choices held up past the first stretch. The traits were obvious early on, then softened as the chats went on, and the replies started to sound alike no matter how I’d built her. It’s the same flattening I noticed in personality.

My result: 7/10. Your choices show up at first, then fade.

Ease of building vs using presets

I made a girl from scratch and also picked ready-made ones from the homepage. Building is quick and easy to follow, and the presets are the better choice if you’d rather skip the setup, since each one comes with a bio and a type. The catch is that the plan page limits how many custom girls you can create, so you can’t keep making new ones freely on the lower plans.

My result: 7.5/10. It’s easy to use, but the cap on custom girls limits how much you can experiment.

My safety score: 6.5/10

Kupid is a real, registered business with written terms, a complaints process and proper rights for EU users. That puts it ahead of the anonymous apps in this space. It’s weaker on privacy: staff can read flagged chats, the company keeps your data for years after you leave, and I found no sign of end-to-end encryption. On my scale, that puts it just under DreamGF, DreamBF and Candy AI (7).

Age gating and underage protection

Kupid is 18+ only, and it collects your date of birth at sign-up. Its privacy policy says it will delete the data and block anyone it finds is under 18. In practice the check is you confirming your age. The terms say Kupid isn’t responsible if someone lies about it, so there’s no real verification.

My result: 6/10. It’s clearly adults-only, but the gate relies on your word.

Content moderation and blocked material

Kupid uses automated moderation, and anything flagged can be reviewed by a person and lead to a suspended account. There are DMCA and 2257 compliance pages in the footer, complaints get an answer within seven business days, and anyone depicted in content can appeal. The terms also say everything the girls say is fictional and shouldn’t be taken as real.

My result: 7.5/10. The rules and the complaints process are clearer than on most apps like this.

Privacy of conversations

This is the weak spot. Flagged chats can be read by staff, and your data can be shared with service providers and used by analytics and ad tools on the site. Kupid says it will keep your personal information for up to six years after you close your account, though EU users can ask for access, correction and deletion. The privacy policy itself is dated 2023, and the terms tell you not to share sensitive details because security can’t be guaranteed.

My result: 5.5/10. It’s fine for casual use, but don’t treat it as private.

Overall practical safety for adult users

Kupid is run by SNB Tech under Maltese law, and I found no sign of it being a scam. Payments go through SNB Tech, and the terms say there are no refunds, so every sale is final. To stop a subscription renewing you have to email them. The discount countdown on the plans page also pushes you to decide fast, so read the terms before you pay.

My result: 7/10. It’s a reasonable option if you go in knowing the rules and keep real personal details out of the chat.

My app vs browser score: 7.5/10

Kupid is mainly a browser experience, but it’s built to feel like an app. Its homepage offers an “Install App” option, and the site is set up to run from your phone’s home screen. I didn’t find an official app in the App Store or Google Play, so don’t go looking for one. The “Cupid AI” apps in the stores are unrelated dating and coaching apps. That puts it just under Candy AI (8), well above DreamBF (6) and DreamGF (6.5), and behind Kindroid (8.5), which has real store apps.

Desktop browser experience

I used it on a computer for the longer sessions and for building a girl. The bigger screen gives you more room for the catalog and the filters, and the Studio page is easier to use with a mouse. It’s a site that looks designed for phones first, so on desktop the layout feels a bit stretched, but nothing breaks.

My result: 7.5/10. It works well, but it feels like a stretched phone site.

Mobile / PWA experience

On a phone, the install option adds Kupid to your home screen, so it opens full-screen without the browser bar and looks like an app. That suits the voice features best, since you can open it and start talking. It still isn’t a store app, so you don’t get notifications or the smoothness of native software.

My result: 8/10. The home-screen install makes it feel like an app, with a few limits.

Cross-device and session stability

Everything is tied to your account, so your girls and chats follow you when you log in on another device. I didn’t hit any logouts or lost sessions. One reviewer said voice can stutter on a weak connection, which is the downside of running in a browser.

My result: 7/10. It’s stable on a good connection and weaker on a bad one.

Overall practical feel

It feels finished and easy to use day to day. You don’t need to download anything from a store, and you can get started in a few seconds. The thing you give up is the polish and the push notifications of a native app, which matters for a companion that’s supposed to message you first.

My result: 7.5/10. It’s convenient, but not as smooth as an app built for your phone.

PlanMonthly PriceAnnual (effective/mo)What You Get
Free$0—15 messages per session, 30-msg memory, no photos/clips/voice.
Pro Weekly$12.99/week$12.99/weekUnlimited chat, 25 photos & 8 videos/week, 12 voice mins/week, 4 companions.
Pro Yearly$14.92/mo$179/yr billed yearlySame Pro, yearly saving vs weekly.

Pricing updated: November 2, 2026 — from kupid.ai official pricing. Regional pricing may vary.

Weekly plans cost about four times more per week than yearly. Pro is $12.99 a week against $3.44 on the yearly plan, so only go weekly if you want a short test.

Kupid says every plan is one payment and nothing renews, including weekly and yearly. Check the payment screen for your currency and payment options, because I could only see crypto and Alipay.

Lifetime is the only plan that says she remembers everything, since Pro keeps the last 30 messages and Ultra the last 100. It also gives you 35 minutes of voice a month, which is less than Pro’s 12 minutes a week, so voice-heavy users may get more from a yearly plan.

What is Kupid AI?

It’s an AI girlfriend app where you chat, get voice messages, photos and short videos. You can pick from a big list of ready-made girls or build your own with loads of options for looks and personality. Pure entertainment, nothing more.

Is it actually worth paying for?

Only if the voice is the main thing you care about. That’s where it really shines — the messages sound natural and she even reaches out first when you’ve been quiet. Memory is short though, replies can get flat after a while, and the photo/video/voice limits run out fast. I gave it 7.1 overall. Great for casual voice chats, not so much if you want her to remember stuff from last week.

Does she actually remember things?

Not really for long. On Pro she keeps the last 30 messages or so. Ultra goes up to about 100. After a day most details are gone. After a few days it feels like starting over with someone who only vaguely knows you. Lifetime claims full memory, but that’s the only plan that does.

Is the voice any good?

Yeah, it’s the best part by far. Sounds human, has proper pacing and emotion. She’ll even send voice notes when you’ve been away. The catch is the weekly minute limits — 12 on Pro, 35 on Ultra. Use it a lot and you’ll burn through them quick. English works best; some other languages sound a bit off.

Can I just use it for free?

Only for a short try. Once the free messages run out you need to pay for photos, video or voice.

Does it do adult stuff?

Yes. It’s open about it. You can go explicit without the character suddenly shutting down or turning weird. The writing isn’t the most creative though, and the photo/video allowances still apply.

How much can I customise the girls?

Pretty solid. Ready-made ones come with proper bios, or you can build your own from scratch. They feel different at the start. Over longer chats the personality can soften a bit. Plans also limit how many custom girls you can make.

Is it private?

Billing is discreet, which is nice. The company is real and registered. But chats sit on their servers, staff can look at flagged ones, and they keep data for years. Don’t put anything super personal in there.

Is there an actual phone app?

No. It’s a website that lets you “install” it so it sits on your home screen and opens full-screen. Works fine, just not a proper App Store or Play Store app.

Final verdict

Kupid AI is worth trying if the voice is what you’re after. That’s the one thing it does better than most of the others I’ve used. She sounds natural, she’ll actually message you first, and the calls feel more like talking to a person than reading text.

Everything else sits in the middle. Memory is short, so don’t expect her to hold onto details for long. The chat can flatten out after a while, and the weekly limits on voice, photos and video force you to watch the clock. It’s fine for casual back-and-forth and the odd longer session, but it never really grows into something that feels like a proper ongoing relationship.

If you mainly want to hear her talk and don’t mind the limits, go for it. If you need strong memory or deeper continuity, you’ll probably get more from something else.

Tired Of Weekly Billing And Capped Voice?

Kupid bills $12.99/week and limits you to 25 photos, 8 videos and 12 minutes of voice a week — and calls don’t carry into chat. Want unlimited messaging and real phone-style calls? Secret Desires gives you unlimited text on paid, deep builder and two-way voice where you can cut in.
